Meeting/Event Information
RNPW meets September through June, with luncheons held on the third Tuesday of each month at Rockford University’s Regents Hall in the Burpee Student Center, 5050 East State Street, Rockford, Illinois. Special events like our Kick-Off in September, Holiday Party in December, and Professional Development Day in April follow a different schedule.

Non-members and guests are welcome to attend up to two meetings before joining is required. No member referral is necessary to attend or become a member.
Join Us
The 2026–2027 Program Year luncheon series will be announced at the September 22nd Kickoff Event at Hidden Creek. Our Program Committee carefully selects dynamic speakers to share their expertise and inspire our members. To attend, follow the “More Info” link for each month’s topic to register. Pre-registration is required to help ensure a smooth and enjoyable event for all.
Weather Cancellation Policy
If a meeting must be canceled due to weather, RNPW follows this policy approved by the Board:
- Meetings will be canceled on any day that Rockford Public Schools close due to snow (cold closures do not apply).
- An e-blast will be sent to the newsletter mailing list under the direction of the President.
- Announcements will also be posted on our website and social media channels.
- The Program Chair, or the person who coordinated with the speaker, will contact the speaker as soon as possible.
- Rockford University, our venue, will be notified immediately by the Reservation Chair or President.
