Angela Larson - CEO, Greater Rockford Chamber of Commerce
Angela Kay Larson is a proven business leader, strategist, and marketing professional with a talent for building collaborative working relationships and driving execution through leadership, coaching, and team dynamics. She has experience in several sectors including manufacturing, non-profit, tourism, economic development, healthcare, and agriculture.
Before joining the Greater Rockford Chamber of Commerce in August 2024, Angela founded a consulting firm, Grindstone Strategic, specializing in strategic plan development and execution. Prior to that, she served as Vice President of Marketing for Woods Equipment Company where she was responsible for new product initiatives, pricing optimization, channel communication, brand awareness, and facilitation of overall business strategy. Currently, Angela serves on the boards of GoRockford, R1 Planning Council, and Hargrove Association Insights, a research and collective intelligence firm. Angela is married to a fourth-generation farmer and lives on a farmstead in the rolling hills of Pecatonica, Illinois.

Meeting/Event Information
RNPW meets September through June, with luncheons held on the third Tuesday of each month at Rockford University’s Regents Hall in the Burpee Student Center, 5050 East State Street, Rockford, Illinois. Special events like our Kick-Off in September, Holiday Party in December, and Professional Development Day in April follow a different schedule.

Non-members and guests are welcome to attend up to two meetings before joining is required. No member referral is necessary to attend or become a member.
Join Us
The 2025–2026 Program Year features our luncheon series, Rooted in Strength, Rising Together, celebrating our shared foundation and future growth. Our Program Committee carefully selects dynamic speakers to share their expertise and inspire our members. To attend, follow the “More Info” link for each month’s topic to register. Pre-registration is required to help ensure a smooth and enjoyable event for all.
Weather Cancellation Policy
If a meeting must be canceled due to weather, RNPW follows this policy approved by the Board:
- Meetings will be canceled on any day that Rockford Public Schools close due to snow (cold closures do not apply).
- An e-blast will be sent to the newsletter mailing list under the direction of the President.
- Announcements will also be posted on our website and social media channels.
- The Program Chair, or the person who coordinated with the speaker, will contact the speaker as soon as possible.
- Rockford University, our venue, will be notified immediately by the Reservation Chair or President.
